LT 6x6 XHD (Extra Heavy Duty)

The 6x6 XHD is known for its agility and has ideal maneuvering capabilities. You will have no problem taking this vehicle in places you have never been able to take a conventional vehicle.
 

This 6x6 amphibious vehicle is designed for remote access travel for 2-4 people. The standard cab configuration encloses the driver and passenger, but can be optionally configured to handle 2 more passengers in jump seats behind the front seats.
 

Of course it is fully amphibious like our other vehicle models, and comes with hydraulic quick disconnect couplers on both front and rear of the vehicle which allows hook up to our optional Water Propulsion system or any category 1, 3 point hitch attachment.
 

The 6x6 XHD is perfect for use as a runabout utility vehicle with room for tools and equipment on the cargo deck.

LT 6x6 XHD (Extra Heavy Duty)

The Land Tamer utilizes our hydraulic/gear drive system which requires virtually no regular maintenance or adjustment. We use a closed loop variable displacement tandem pump system. Each individual pump of the tandem pump setup drives a hydraulic drive motor that delivers torque to either the left or right side set of wheels.

All wheels on each side of the vehicle are mechanically coupled together and driven by one heavy duty hydraulic drive motor for each set of wheels.

This is a much more efficient means of delivering power to the wheels when compared to other hydraulic vehicles which have a hydraulic wheel motor at each wheel. The Land Tamer’s drive system components are protected inside the hull from the elements such as water, mud, dust, rocks, etc. that could damage exposed hydraulic motor seals as with other machines.

The Land Tamer maintenance requirements are a fraction of the maintenance needed for other recreational type amphibious vehicles that have drive chains. Absolutely no drive chains to adjust as with some other recreational type light duty amphibious vehicles, which require many hours of maintenance and have a short vehicle life.

With the Land Tamer you only have to check your oil, filters and grease your bearings and you are off and running saving countless hours of maintenance time. This means money saved over the life of the vehicle and should be factored into the total investment in the Land Tamer.
