Tracked Vehicle

Our 20” wide system which fits over the tires, lowers the ground pressure down to less than 1 psi. This allows the tracked vehicle to travel on soggy muskeg, mud and snow that would otherwise be impassable if traveling with just a wheeled utility vehicle. In addition, a more aggressive cleat can be installed on the bars as extreme conditions warrant.

For extreme terrain travel the tracks are easily installed by driving onto the track an inserting a pin. Proper tension is simply obtained by airing up the tires to the proper air pressure. With this optional Mud/Snow track accessory, you can be you will get to where you want all year round.

Land Tamer 6x6 with snow tracks

The 6x6 XHD has one continuous track that wraps all wheels. Each Land Tamer model is full time all wheel drive with or without the rubber track system installed. This means the Land Tamer can be cross utilized on terrain that require a light footprint.

The 8x8 XHD Wraps the front two and rear two wheels providing a low PSI even with a heavy cargo load.

For deep snow conditions a longer more aggressive cleat can be installed on the traction bars. If you are traveling on snow or swamp the tracked vehicles like the Land Tamer can be used throughout the year with or without rubber tracks.
