PFM Manufacturing, Inc. was founded in 1998 by Patrick F. Miller for the sole purpose of providing a highly versatile, safer, extreme industrial use amphibious all terrain vehicle that was void in the market place. Mr. Miller, our President/CEO, holds a degree in mechanical engineering with a total of 25 years of industry experience with engineering design, technical sales and marketing, construction and customer service experience.

Surrounded by a team of top notch, highly talented engineers and employees, PFM fills the void in the marketplace by offering a larger, more powerful, more versatile, more reliable, and safer off road vehicle for the working outdoorsmen. PFM's principle product is the Land Tamer® Amphibious RAV available in 6x6 or 8x8 models.

The Land Tamer® Amphibious RAV is not for everyone, but is designed primarily for the extreme outdoor use applications, where vehicle reliability, durability and longevity is essential. Our Land Tamer® II will outperform, outlast any recreational ATV on the market for all around versatility, durability and safety. Nothing else compares! It is in a class of it's own. We proudly call this extreme machine, the Land Tamer® II Remote Access Vehicle (RAV).

The patented Land Tamer® design, incorporates many features that make it much better than other ATV's. There simply is no other unit on the market that compares with the Land Tamer's® II. The Land Tamer® II has approximately 4 times more horsepower and torque than the typical recreational 4x4, 6x6 or 8x8 ATV on the market.

The new Land Tamer® II Industrial RAV features the Kubota V2003 Turbo or the optional BF4 Deutz Turbo diesel engine. Also new for 2008 is the Zenith Power Systems 2.8 Liter EFI Gasoline/LP with 91 HP at 3600 RPM. The ZPP 2.8 engine has unparalleled power-to-weight ratio and performance. All engines are coupled to our industrial quality closed loop hydrostatic drive, where all driving functions are controlled by our new single T-handle controller. This allows for one handed driving from either the right or left seat.

Our Land Tamer® II Industrial RAV come with dependable, fully enclosed sealed gear boxes on each axle which are coupled to two powerful hydraulic drive motors. There are NO DRIVE CHAINS to adjust as with some other vehicles.

Our hull and hood design allows for steep, fast entry into the water without risk of swamping the hull with water. The Land Tamer® II features as standard equipment, our huge 33x12.5-15/ 8-ply Ag tractor tires with 12" of ground clearance, or the all season 32x11.5-15 truck tires if ordered with our snow track option.

Our design is a simple, efficient, proven system and is easy to maintain wherever you are. It will stand up to the extreme cold of the North and the hot summers of the South. With our hydrostatic drive system, you can operate one set of wheels backward on one side of the vehicle, while the other side of the vehicle, the wheels run forward. This action is accomplished by our unique T-handle controller with just a twist of the wrist, and allows for a zero turning radius or on the spot 360 degree turns. Also available is our optional electric joystick controller which also allows for ease of remote control operation of the vehicle. The Land Tamer® II is the ultimate for versatility and maneuverability.

All Land Tamer® II Industrial RAV's come equipped with onboard hydraulic power take off as standard equipment. This allows for the vehicle to be used as a tractor when outfitted with our optional Category I, 3 Point Hitch with 540 RPM PTO Accessory. With this optional accessory, the Land Tamer® II allows the owner to attach many types of farm and earth moving attachments. This is just one more reason the Land Tamer® II is the most versatile amphibious off road working vehicle anywhere.

With our optional Snow Track System and Fully Enclosed Extended Cab, the Land Tamer® II RAV can serve as a snow coach capable of transporting up to 10 people.

No other amphibious ATV but the Land Tamer® II RAV offers a hydraulic Water Propulsion System. Our new hydraulic water propulsion system utilizes a 9" diameter propeller to push our Land Tamer® faster in the water than any other amphibious all terrain vehicle available today for civilian use. Our amazing Water Propulsion System can be raised or lowered, can go forward or reverse, and can be steered all from the drivers seat.
